I think we might remember Steve Wilner in 20 years, the way we do Alan Watts, and Robert Anton Wilson...

I had a fun Memorial Day weekend. I went down to Hermosa Beach... my place of birth, and most favorite beach to sun-soak. As I've always said, Hermosa Beach is like walking into a Sublime song, although Memorial Day weekend isn't exactly that... there are hundreds of people bumping into each other, and arts and crafts booths, and beer gardens, and people with sun block on their noses.
like this...

(I didn't take that photo though)
Speaking of beach-fun, here's a photo of me making a funny face after riding my boogie board up to the sand...
(last year @ Hermosa)
I've caught bigger waves, I swear. :P
I started a new painting last week... I'm pretty much done, and I'll post a photo of it when within the next few days. My Auntie Nini sent me something on facebook asking why I haven't been painting lately... so Auntie Nini... it's coming soon. :)

Observational Sketch Fun
I was sitting at Edward's house, and feeling kinda crafty and creative, I thought I'd sketch out the view that was directly in front of where I was sitting. He had some t-squares and rulers and a pen and pencil, so I'd thought I'd have some observational drawing fun....
I couldn't get the whole view that I was seeing in front of me into the photo I was taking (because there was a wall behind me and couldn't back up further.) So I have the left side photo, and the right side photo to compare to the picture I drew. I think the angles I perceived are pretty close - not perfect, but close. :)
You can click on the photos to make them bigger...
(I just realized I didn't get the top of the picture I drew into the photo, so the top is cut off.)

Sita's Big Night
(I just uploaded some more photos into this blog, that I wasn't able to get up before, when I first posted it, but now there up, so here they are! There are also a few other photos, that I still have to post..)
Last night was fun. I went to Sita's art show - she did a group show downtown put on by Art Tank... there were many great artists showing last night, and of course, Sita's work is genius. She's been taking leaps in work and progress as an artist, and we're all so proud of her!!
Me, Angelit, my mom (Yvonne), Edward...

Angelit flying Bijee!

we gangsta.

...seriously one of the best bands I've seen live in a long time:
Gram Rabbit during their rendition of Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit"

just found their myspace to post to this blog:

nothing inparticular
I'm groggy today. I woke up much later than I have been lately. I didn't sleep very well last night. I crawled in at about 1:30am, which again is much earlier than is normal for me, and I stayed in "stage 2" sleep for almost the entire night. (Stage 2 sleep is the place between conscious thought, and dreaming) Everytime I actually felt like I was drifting in deeper - actually falling asleep, someone would call me! 3 times last night, I got late night calls - needless to say it was annoying and I think, pretty rude. I ended up having to power my phone down so I could return to what was an already unrestfull sleep. But....It wasn't that big of a deal, and to be honest, nothing really, truly makes me mad.
My eyes opened this morning for the very first moment of the day, already looking directly at the clock to see that it was 11:10am. I thought it was pretty amazing to have entered into a new day at 11:10. (11:11am would have been amazing too.) I closed my eyes, and cleared my mind searching for a proper inner vision to manifest - but instead, I accidently lost myself in a short-lived dream. I woke up again to see 11:12. Not sure if I missed 11:11, or if I actually enjoyed it on a deeper level of consciousness.
I'm late now into my Saturday morning. I'm having kettle corn from Trader Joe's for breakfast, because it's delicious and yummy.
This blog isn't really about anything inparticular, so maybe I'll just share a photo with you guys, that I haven't yet posted anywhere. It's one of the photos from the shoot I did in Canada...

Just some silly crap at 9am...
I think I'm finally finding my natural rhythm here, now. I think, no matter where you move, for the first few weeks - it takes a while until you find your favorite place to sit, and favorite thing to do during lazy days, etc. Now that I have everything in it's place - the internet is turned on, the cable is up, all the books are in their shelves, and my graveyard of half empty (or full, depending on my mood) bath and beauty products are in their proper cemetery... I think I'm finally feeling at home.
...There's a horn outside that has been continuously honking - one long, perpetual hoooooooonk, and has been hooooooonking for over the past 5 minutes now, at least. Maybe someone died, and konked out with their forehead pressed against the steering wheel, causing the loudest cry for help ever heard at 9am. My imagination never fails to fill in the unexplained; he's a middle-aged regional manager for Taco Bell, who's just been fired and comes home every day to a menopausal wife who never comes within 3 feet of him due to his lack in ability to scrub out the smell of beans and seasoned grade F meat. He's been fired for 3 days now, and instead of pretending to drive off to work yet again, he's finally decided to "do himself in". He didn't shoot himself, but sadly... swallowed a taco shell large enough cut one's insides to a bloody pulp if it weren't chewed properly. And that's exactly what he did. So now, his forehead is pressed against the steering wheel screaming in a streaming, continuous "hoooooooonk".
Oh the honking stopped.
I'm sure no one really died but it was fun to make up and write. Kinda cliche' though.
Okay I'm of to do my voice-over. I have V.O. work to do today at Liquid Theory....
"V.O., V.O., it's off to work I go...." haha... okay I'm silly, bye.

Hello.... After So Long
Wow, February 17th, was the last time I wrote? Geez. I'm guessing about half of my readers have had to have found other things to read by now, coming to the conclusion that I must have fallen off the face of the earth, or otherwise lost dexterity in my fingers and am no longer able to type.
The truth is, there wasn't much I wanted to share. I broke up with my boyfriend of almost two years in late December, and decided to move to a new place alone. From early Jan. to the 1st of April, I was staying with my Mom at her house until I found the perfect place to live. It had to be buzzing with nature, and out of the concrete jungle. What I found was a cute triplex, a bit further down the street from where my Mom lives, which isn't annoying as it sounds - she and I are pretty good friends.
I watched a lot of TV those three months, which I normally never do, but discovered "Current TV", which is a channel that seems to be more intelligent than most the trash one is able to find on the tube, without looking. I made lots of new art. Did a hell of alot of writing - obviously, nothing I've posted to blogger. The lot of it were essays on what I'd been reading, none of which I felt the need, or want to share.
About a month ago I got a call from Liquid Theory, who produced episodes of The Real World and The Hills, telling me that our series that's been in the works, has just been picked up! I can't say much about it, as I'm under confidentiality, but I think it's okay to say that it was picked up by E! .... which is awesome... I'm shooting the pilot this coming week, and I'm psyched to say the least.
I'll write again soon... I don't have the internet hooked up at my house yet, so I have to come to my mom's to use it everyday...
:)

New Art Projects
I haven't written in a while...
I finally have the opportunity to write! I've been having computer difficulties lately, so it's tough for me to get to a keyboard.
I was able to get around to editing the blog called, "The Second Half of a Long Moment" (which is down below a couple posts) It was a mess! If you've already read it, then you saw the sloppiness in my grammar, and typos, etc.
I've been into new art projects lately. It was the blog called, "Geometrics" that spawned this new streak. (also down below on the page) I'm a good observational artist, and can draw what I see pretty well - also painting odd scenes to get across some kind of commentary is something I do alot - but I got into geometric designs again. I used to draw them with a nearly obsessive curiosity as a teenager, but somehow I forgot about it, or grew bored of it.
I was in a design class in art school a couple years ago - the final project was to create a Mandala. It was the first time since I was a teenager that I'd created a geometric design. Although this time, as an adult, I made the design into a working cosmogram, and with the placement of symbolic imagery, I created a functional graph.
The Teachings
As for the streak I've been on - I've started a geometry journal, and a sketch pad to explore the beauty of sacred geometry. I'm seeking now to gain a true understanding of the essence of the "God Mind" as it is often referred to as; it's the implication that all things in nature arise during creation with a predetermined pattern through which matter assumes form. Flowers, the rings of a tree stump, sea shells, crystals, snowflakes, and even the human form, all fall within the basic fundamental structural guidelines of a few simple geometric forms.
Expounding on the organic structures of nature, color and tone can be also be applied. I'm still learning the intricacies of this teaching. It's complex, but basically geometric forms also resonate harmonic tones. Steve Wilner of Labyrinth of The Psychonaut suggests that things like flowers and crystals may take on their shape because they might be responding to a sound in nature.
Tone-Color Consciousness
(Now if I've got it right, here) While organic materials resonate tones, tones are said to correspond to the 12 colors of the light spectrum. In other-words, harmonic tones house relative and corresponding colors.
So, geometric forms have music and color! And what is the nature of reality? Visually, we see geometric forms. We hear all sorts of sounds, as the world buzzes with life, and within our visual perception, color is splashed over the entire canvas. Violla!
Here's something I'm working on right now - I still have to add color, and fill in some other things... It's not done... It's based on The Flower of Life, and Metatron's Cube.

(The photo quality isn't very good, but I'll post again when I'm finished.)

The Zombie
I haven't written here in a while. I've been writing lately, but nothing I've wanted to post.
The last couple days have been spooky! I caught a flu virus that I've been referring to as "The Zombie", which I think is an appropriate term. I'm calling it the Zombie, because I felt like one of those monsters from "I am Legend", or "28 Days Later". It did seem like one of those movies... first a sickness floats around town and everyone falls sick at the same time. Then everyone, at the same time is sick in bed. (Which is what it's seemed like latley) And then from bed, the sickness turns to a sweaty coma and you begin to breath heavily, while cocooning into some other-worldly metamorphosis. Muuhahahaha!!
Last time I was this sick, it was much the same.. but worse, come to think of it. It was this time last year, and like a zombie I dragged my decaying body into the doctor's office with a temperature of 104. Instead of sitting with the other zombies in the waiting room, I chose to sit outside in the hallway, or rather.. lay down. I didn't care. I sprawled out in the hallway at the medical center, on the carpet floor. I heard the echoes of people walking by me, but didn't have the energy enough to sit up, much less in a chair in the waiting room. When I got in, my Doctor took one look at me and said, "We've gotta give her a shot." It was a penicillin shot...
Her assistant left the room, and came back with a big ol' needle and they told me to stand up and turn around. The assistant nipped me in the butt cheek with it. I heard the Doctor start to say something to the effect of, "You might feel a little dizzy...." But those words were just echoes in my head that turned into some kind of hour long dream which in actuallity spanned the period of about 15 seconds. I woke up on the table a moment later unable to see. My body shot up in tempature, and I began to sweat, and turn and twist, and my eyes rolled back into my head. My veins felt flushed with poison.
Then it went away. When I came-to, I was spinning and everyone in the room was standing over me worried. The more the dizziness went away, the better I felt. Later that night, the Zombie was gone. The next day I felt like a brand new Bianca. I'm not sure if I'd ever agree to having another penicillin shot. I told my Dad about it, and he was pissed. "People die from those Bianca! Why'd you get a penicillin shot? Don't you know how dangerous they are?" Well I didn't know, but now I do.
Anyway, that was last year, and I must say - this year's flu wasn't nearly as bad as last year's. Actually, on Friday, when it was worst, I actually drove myself to the doctor and rear-ended someone on the way there! I was that out-of-it. Of course, the lady's car I hit wasn't all that bad, but she still wanted take down my info..
I've been rear-ended on more than one occasions, and waved the person off to go free. Probably three times. If the damage isn't that bad, then there's no sense in making both of our lives more complicated, right? I suppose not everyone has the same idea.

The Second Half of A Long Moment
I was just browsing through my blogs, and in rereading this one, I realized that I'd kept some important information out this entry. At the time, I was just weary of admitting that..... well... I was on mushrooms when I wrote this. I guess I should also say that I don't feel there's anything wrong with taking psychedelics once in a great while. (and I mean a great while. It's really only once every couple years for me, and only when I feel it's "time".) It's about learning, and gaining clarity - not about getting high. -- Bianca - Jan. 2011
-- I should note that when I say "her" I'm referring to my Mother. She was very sick at the time, and did a sort of astral healing process on her. I cut most of that part out though, as it's kind of personal. I then go into something else, unrelated to the healing.
...I tuned into the video of Eckhart Tolle again, which was playing in the background. (Who's calming voice initially sent me into this alternate state. Once I went in, I could no longer hear.) I let his voice take hold of the moment as I came to listening once again, but then saw an enormous connecting bridge which was a sort breathing spirit which connected my soul to hers and then I took that image and sent it up to the heavens and into the sun. The sun was then giving and receiving new energies which were bold and undeniably positive and that of raw creation. Then, something broke my attention I started talking to Edward about something. Then, he put on Santana's Caravanserai... Awesome album.
I layed back down again in my spot on the couch, and put my covers back over my earthen body, and the eye bag pillow to weigh my eyes lids down. When I revisited the realm it was nothing but open-space. It was the simple nothingness of outer space. I saw our galaxy and then, the giant vacuum of nothingness which lay at the center.
I peered down into the black hole, and saw that this nothingness was everythingness. I then saw that it's nothingness created everything at it's outer perimeters. I realized that time is what progressed creation, and realized that time is actually the moving of the outer perimeters into the center. That once these material objects; solar systems and their stars, and life bearing worlds were only things which awaited their inevitable turn into the giant mass which gave it's form from beginning.
I questioned the black hole. Is it really pulling in? Or is it spewing out as well? Is this energy both sucking and pushing? Yes! It's the push that births form, but it's also the pull which gives it time with which to dwell in...
(At the time it seemed to make sense, but scientifically it's incorrect. I wouldn't say there is a physical push. I was more refering to an auric feild, or spiritual breath of life as a push)
And that was the vision. And here I am again. The black hole was a magical force. It's no wonder we silly humans try to build enormous tunnels deep into our earth to clash atoms so that we might understand what the nothingness really is. Sadly, we'll only learn it once it's ready to reveal it's self. I don't believe we are overstepping ourselves or acting outside of the laws of nature in trying to understand it, because we are nature. This investigation is simply consciousness understanding it's self. Well that's meta 101, obviously. But it could never be underestimated or repeated too many times. Consciousness needs to acquaint it's self with it's self. It needs to happen over and over so that it can exist indefinitely. Just the way an atom will only act predictably while it's being observed - taking that on to a larger scale, the entire universe needs to observe it's self in order for it to follow any kind of cosmic design pattern. This is probably a process which happens within infinity, and our juvenile attempts with our particle colliders are just the tools we have at this moment, and in another moment humanity has already made contact. Perhaps in that other-realm we realized smashing atoms wasn't the answer at all.

Perhaps in that other-realm we realized smashing atoms wasn't the answer at all.
The entire motive is far too egotistical and greedy to discover the laws of the universe at this point. I've heard that we are looking to harness dark energy for it's possible usefullness as jet fuel, or to propel... something rather. Our cars, or the earth.. our gas stoves or whatnot, I don't know. But this is the wrong motive to look into discovering the laws of the universe. Now, that is not to discredit the passion and life-long work of the scientists at CERN, or other parts of the globe. I'm sure they've been wondering what the cosmos are made of since they were children. I'm speaking more of what's driven funding by the government. The government has little interest in funding anything unless there's a possible way to make weapons out of it.
So, it's really driven by an empty soulless place within humanity that still needs to be healed. Once we've healed our collective pains and neuroticisms, we might be a mature enough civilization who is truly deserving of the answers of the laws of the universe. Let dark matter reveal it's self once we can handle it. Look at poor Einstein, torn in a conflict between good and evil, and look at what happened to our helpless Mother Earth.
On the brighter side, with Obama's introduction I felt as though the earth it's self was in a celebratory rejoice on Inauguration Day. It was as though the time we are in now, regardless of the wars going on in various parts of the world, and regardless of our economic woes, humanity as a singular entity for the most part, finally felt love....all at once! It was beautiful! On Inauguration day, people were crying with joy, and it was felt on such a deep level... finally, we can all be happy at the same time. Peace, and Happiness, finally. That is, for a moment. And then things moved again, Gaza is still in tears, Africa is still starving, China is still choking, Americans are still confused, the Danish are still oblivious, Hawaiians are still surfing stuck in paradise... but the next day, everyone went back to their everyday lives with an extra hop in their step.
I noticed that next day that people looked each other in the eyes directly. At the counter making a purchase, the clerk truly wanted to know how your day was going. Strangers weren't strangers, but someone who smiled with you. People on the streets shared a common bond, and a knowing that maybe things are going to be okay. Maybe all of it isn't too good to be true. The man in office really is a good man. His smile is a real smile, like that of a good doctor entering the the room with the intent and knowledge that what he has in store is good medicine.
